Hi, I’m Kari!

(I also go by KL or Kyle).

I am a Digital Creator and Senior Experience Designer with 12+ years of combined editorial, multimedia and product design with experience working with a range of companies and causes. My passion is to bring usability and accessibility to the core of any experience or product, leveraging collaboration, data and user empathy as part of the UX process.

As a mountain biker and a designer, I know that the best way through a trail is achieved not by avoiding the rocks, but by knowing how to move through the bumps efficiently and having fun doing it. Having worked on cross-functional teams, I bring an open mind to problem solving and partnership without sacrificing smart and scalable designs.

I currently support small business owners with the Enterprise Business Banking segment at U.S. Bank by crafting user-centered digital experiences that drive measurable marketing outcomes and accessible experiences. Skilled in data storytelling, I have a background in delivering customer experiences that go beyond performance metrics and create impact through meaningful products & services.

When not designing, I enjoy spending time outdoors or exploring by bike and taking photos of my adventures. Check them out here: https://kolson-designs.myportfolio.com/
